Egg card BT?

Options
I have an Egg card anniversary BT offer. They say you can do a BT from current account/overdraft or a money transfer to current account.

If anybody has done this with an Egg card, would you be kind enough to explain what the differences are ?

    They're one and the same.

See condition 9.3 and the Balance Transfers FAQ.

    Thanks, YB !

Just to clarify, the money transfer would also qualify for the 0% rate and would not incur any other charges apart from the 2.5% BT initial fee ?

In effect, this would be the same as the Virgin deal ?

    That is my understanding, yes.

BTW, are you using this as a cheap loan/shifting real debt? If not, and you're stoozing, you won't make a profit will you?
