Hi everyone!!
Just after some advice with Admiral car insurance. I have been with them for over 2 years, made a no fault claim and now they have advised me there is a discrepancy with my no claim bonus, if I don’t provide proof in 14 days they will knock it back to 0 years and back charge me!!!!
Spoken to my previous insurer really helpful, Tesco who kindly are sending me out a letter of my 7 years ncb when I left them. They also advised Admiral are more than welcome to call them to confirm.
What has really annoyed me is I gave proof two years ago via their online portal where I had to enter in all my previous details, why have they left it this long? Just moved and can’t find the original letter from Tesco now.
Has anyone else every been in this situation before? Where exactly do I stand, they contacted me via email and have asked them if they can phone Tesco with my policy number.
Very annoyed
Cheers
Stephen

if you have proof from Tesco you have nothing to worry, could be a computer error from their part"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Complain to them, computer error or not, there is no fairness in this, you don't need the inconvenience.0

Have you got confirmation/proof you uploaded it two years ago?
I suspect it may not have loaded properly at the time, Admiral only dip check NCD proof and yours wasn't selected to be checked which is why it wasn't picked up on at the time.
Now a claim has been reported they are doing full checks (as is their right).
Fail to see what the issue is, as to the post above, what tosh! If Admiral do their validation checks at point of claim, this will save them the expense of doing it pre sale or post sale, meaning they can offer a lower price. How is that 'not fair'??0
