Nationwide Open Banking

Nationwide have put a page up about them and Open Banking.

Looks like they are giving you the opportunity to opt in or out of it, although they don't say what the default will be.

    I'll be opting out, although as I don't use banking apps that may not be necessary anyway.

    I don't KNOW but i THINK that it has nothing to do with if you use an app for banking when it comes to other entities looking at your banking account via the Open Banking APIs.

    If you opt in (or don't opt out) authorised FCA approved third parties etc etc can look at your account(s) via the API.
