The only vehicles to get discounts being- Fire service and police vehicles
- Vehicles used in the funfair and circus trade
- Vehicles used for road maintenance and operation
- Self-propelled working machines that are only used for performing work and not for transporting goods in commercial road haulage or own-account transport operations
In Germany - you need to pre-buy a "PASS" costing over £100 just to drive on autobahns !

Gives the toll rates (up to 16.4 cents /km depending on the emissions of your car) - this could really add up if you are not careful !!
Even France only gives a discount - if your car is adapted (not just on the blue badge)

According to this https://www.thelocal.de/20170324/what-the-new-german-autobahn-toll-will-mean-for-you currently only trucks pay a toll.
But after negotiations in November that essentially gave Berlin the green light, the Bundestag was able to pass certain changes to the measure on Friday for the toll to go into effect in 2019. It still could be delayed by Germany's upper house of parliament (Bundesrat).

There's talk but it hasn't been brought in yet. Currently only trucks pay the toll or MAUT as we know it.0

Camper vans will be taxed, along with cars. But motorbikes, electric cars, adapted cars for the disabled and ambulances will all be exempt.
does this mean a disabled car adapted will not pay, saying that £10 for 10 days isn't too bad2007 £1749

That paragraph refers to residents in Germany.
However, that is only a proposal for 2019. Full details won't be finalised until it is passed.0
