Hi folks..
So went to pizza hut the other day, 23rd of this month ( 23/09/2017 ) with only one space left free, however the car next to us had parked over both bays leaving me to either park right next to them blocking the drivers door in, or half park in mine and to the other side of the bay, (Of which there was no other bay and a sectioned off road) .. Which is what i ended up doing.
Coming back to the car, the park watch guy was just applying the ticket to the windscreen, whilst i was asking him wth is he doing ?? Of which he promptly replied " youre not parked within the bay lines" properly applied the sticker and vanished to his little friend.
Said vehicle that indirectly forced me to park like that had long gone :mad:
so I went and explained why i had to this jobs worth idiot, of which fell on deaf ears with the response of "nothing i can do"
Soooo.. Checked up on "park Watch " of whom claim they are a member of the " BPA " of which they are not, However their main company " Defence Systems Limited " is..
Ive looked at the newbies section on whats what, But cant make heads or tail of it..
So im asking here, on whats the best route . decesion to make.
Thanks.

K, Cheers..
Ill email them on the 19th of october, as thats when day 26 is,
p.s do you know of anything relating to disabled parking requirements ?
The other half decided to park in one without realising it was a disabled spot, and is now faced with a £160 fine.( no blue badge showing )
I thought they werent allowed to fine / notice you due to discrimination of the disability act 2010, so youre entitled to use a disabled spot even without a bluebadge showing.. ( our other car is a disability/mobility car )
Cheers again.0 -

There's no Disability Act, but there is the Equality Act 2010, which is silent about Blue badges and permits, of course, as they are not required to be defined as meeting the definition of disability (no need to signal your need to use a provision that you qualify for).
If she's getting letters demanding £160 she must be at ''ignore the debt collectors'' stage, which is covered by post #4 of the NEWBIES thread and normally means ignoring completely.
However, if she has a chronic medical condition likely to last 12 months or more and/or has a blue badge, she should write or email to the parking firm to show that evidence of disability, so that if she gets a claim to defend later, she can show she did already (pre-action) tell them about her lawful right to use that special bay provision.PRIVATE 'PCN'? hi, CM..
Tried to link you to the said carpark but it wont let me .. newbie rules -.- ..
but safe to say its the same firm thats doing us over...
if you search for CV6 6AS in google, it will pinpoint you in the carpark and surround carparks all monitored by the same company..
Yes we are with a collection recovery company now.. debt recovery plus ltd, so im guessing £100 for parkwatch and the £60 is DRP's fee totaling £160.
For now0 -

Well no, you are just laughing at some random letters like most of us have done!
I have my own collection from years ago, nothing happened. And look at the link to StaffsSW's collection photo of DRPlus letters, I think it's in post #4 of the NEWBIES thread that you'll have just read when I signposted you to it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Why not? What's your POPLA wording, and we assume you never got a NTK in the post. So you win.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
