Credit Club and Statutory Report show different information

I purchased my statutory report last week and everything came back fine with all address information looking correct etc.

I signed up to credit club today and was surprised to find that the address under the electoral roll section was incorrect... not only that, it does not exist.

The electoral roll address on the clearscore service is correct, and it was on my statutory report dated 19/09/17. Also have 8 linked addresses on credit club but only 2 on statutory report...

Anyone else got experience of something like this? seems very strange.

    Who did you buy the stat report from ?

    Stat report was from Experian.

    Rather frustratingly as well, under the "personal information" section in credit club (the bit which is supposedly formed from information I have provided), the current address is also wrong. Yet somehow it's not the same as that under "account settings" (correct) or the incorrect electoral roll information.

    My address is:

    xx Building, Road, town, PC - this is given under account settings and is the same as that given everywhere on my stat report and clearscore. It is also the same as that showing for all my accounts.

    the current address given under personal info is: xx road, town, PC

    and the electoral roll is: xx road, town, WRONG POST CODE - the address given does not exist.


    My worry is that if I apply for a credit card (i plan to do this soon) and they run a check, then the electoral roll address will be wrong and will screw things up. The council say they have given the correct address... which to be fair they must have done since it's right everywhere else. So what on earth is going on here?

    I somewhat confused about how this could have happened. Not least because all my accounts which use the correct address appear on all the reports... The council only have me on the electoral roll once, so how this is becoming two addresses (but only on the credit club service) i'm not entirely sure.

    Any comments are welcome, I'm at a loss.
  • The issue seems to centre around the fact that CreditClub is using the wrong address to run their soft-search, notably not the one I am giving them.

    The address listed under the "Search History" tab for the MSE Credit Club search is: xx road, town, PC which is then clearly causing problems. Why are they not running their search using the address i've given them? They are showing it under settings, but not using it to do the search.
  • Given that the credit club isn't a CRA, and no no one is using it to credit check any one, I wouldn't worry.

    From what you say, the CRAs have your address down correctly.
  • The plot thickens though, because the "search" that Experian did to produce my statutory report also wasn't the full address, yet that yielded the correct electoral info :/

    Very confusing... At the end of the day, I have one address, it surely shouldn't be that difficult!
