Ryanair cancelled my flight

Hi there,
Ryanair have just cancelled my return flight from Belfast to Gatwick in October – the outbound flight has not been cancelled (yet).
I called to rebook another return flight but it seems all flights from Gatwick to Belfast have been cancelled from that date in October. I told them I would be willing to return from Dublin instead of Belfast and she told me that was not an option as it is “a different country” and would no longer be a domestic flight. I was informed that my only options were to rebook flights in the weeks previous from Belfast to Gatwick which had not been cancelled (i.e. change the dates of my trip) or request a refund.
I need to be back home in Ireland on the dates that I had originally booked so I had no choice but to request a refund. I have just rebooked a return flight from Dublin (with Ryanair also) but this was done off my own steam and not as part of the phone call as she could not accommodate that.
Having booked the original flights some time ago, the prices have since gone up and having to subsequently rebook my flights from a different airport has cost me about £25. I know it is not a huge amount but I am a frequent flyer with Ryanair – am I entitled to claiming back the difference?

It's in the Common Travel Area, they should have let you change it.
You can ask for the difference back but they're not obliged to do so because you cancelled. On a positive you will be issued with a free flight voucher to use in the future, not sure when that will come through.
If you find yourself in that position again - for anything - best advice is call back and speak to someone else.0 -
Why didn't they re-route you on easyjet?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

That wasn't even provided as an option
