Ebay distances???

So a large item I am interested in is 75 miles away according to Ebay.
BUT 114 miles away according to AA planner!
How can they get a simple thing like that so wrong?

I think distances are as the crow flies. If you live in Devon or Cornwall and search say up to 50 miles it will show items in south Wales over a hundred miles away (unless you have a boat).0

This... I often look at items within 50 mile radius but it turns out to be over 200 miles!!Dwy galon, un dyhead,

I have learned the hard way to ignore Ebays distance calculator.
it may be deliberate to buy things you might not buy if you knew the real distance.0
