Hi
I intend to apply for a new bank account very soon, will this cause a problem for me if I then apply for a balance transfer credit card very shortly after. Will it reduce my chances are getting the credit card if the lender can see that search for bank account?

Bank account applications seem to have less of an impact than credit ones. Although some of that may depend on if you get an overdraft with it or not.
I opened some 9 current accounts, since the start of the year (none with an overdraft). After those I applied for 3 credit cards, and got 2 of them.0
