Chrome not loading web pages

This morning I thought I had an issue with my Broadband as I couldn't load any web pages on my pc, it just sits there doing nothing but try to load.

Checked router all good so did a speed test on the ipad 110 mbps and internet loaded fine.

Restarted the pc twice and still the same. This is using Chrome, but I have just started firefox and its loaded fine and im using it now to write this.

I have also sent an email to my ipad from my windows mail app on the pc and it is fine and has received a reply back, so I think it must be a Chrome issue- any pointers of what to try next?

Funny, I'm experiencing a similar problem. IE and Firefox work great, but Chrome takes a good while before it wants to work and load pages.

I suspect it's my network settings.

Edit - try going into internet explorer -> Internet options -> Connection -> Lan settings -> Click 'automatically detect settings'

Restart IE. Close it. Restart Chrome

Ive had another fiddle and its ZenMate VPN, as soon as I disable it the pages load. Strangely I've just activated ZenMate on Firefox with no issues.
