PPI Preferred Mortgages

Hi all,
I was wondering if anybody has tried to claim back PPI from Preferred Mortgages?
I had a mortgage with them in 2007, but they were taken over by another company (Capstone I think) in 2010.
However, when I checked online they were still trading.
I am aware that I need an account breakdown summary of everything that I paid. But the original paperwork has been misplaced.
I genuinely have no idea where to start with this, so any help would be sincerely appreciated.
I don't mind paying the charge for the summary, but I do not wish to send the request (and the money) to the wrong company.
Any ideas please?

The first thing is whether you had PPI or not?
IIRC, they were a broker only lender and didnt have a PPI product.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
