Is Co-Op Telling Me The Truth?

I've recently switched a TSB account into a Co-op Everyday Rewards account, however because I missed a DD transferring over I missed out on the £125 incentive.
I sent a message asking if I could switch another account in order to obtain the incentive this time round, only to be told in the reply that 'I've checked this for you, and you cant switch another account into this one, as a full switch has now been completed'
However, reading the following T&Cs I meet all the 'Existing Customer' terms. That is:
- Having an account of any type 'as at August 1st 2017'
- Not paying an average of £800/mth to the account between May 1st and August 1st - I only opened the account in mid-August so nothing has been paid in until then.
- Not receiving an incentive since January 2014
It goes on to say...
'7 - If you are an eligible existing customer, you will qualify for this offer if you:
7.1 - Switch your main current account to your existing Co-operative Bank standard Current Account, Everyday Extra Account, Privilege Account, Privilege Premier Account or Current Account Plus. The switch must be completed using the full Current Account Switch Service, which will include the closure of your old account on the day that your switch completes; and
7.2 - Switch a minimum of four active Direct Debits to the account that you have switched to, which must remain active until the incentive payment is made.
Judging by all the above, it would seem I can switch another TSB account I have into my Co-op account and receive the incentive..
But when looking on the Co-Op homepage where the offer is shown it states:
'Switch using Current Account Switch Service, 4+ active Direct Debits. Excludes existing customers paying £800+ per month from 01/05/17 - 01/08/17 and previous switching recipients. Offer can be withdrawn at any time. T&Cs apply'
I'm unsure if I am a 'previous switching recipients' or not? There is no mention of this in the actual Terms & Conditions.
Basically, I need to know if I can switch again and get the £125 this time or not.
Thanks,
Ash

From the letter of the terms you are entitled to receive the offer should you switch in another account. You have not received an incentive or met any other conditions which would stop you receiving one.
I'd call up again and if they still deny it ask to raise a complaint.urs sinserly,

When I messaged, it was via their secure messaging online.
I'm wondering if they are thinking I'm asking to change the original switch and saying I cant as it has already been completed?
I think I'll get some DDs setup on the next TSB account and transfer when its all okay to switch. I'll save a copy of the Ts&Cs should I require them for reference down the line.#157 - Save £12k in 2016: £12000 / £12000

You are definateley a 'new customer' as you didn't have an account 1 August
You are definatley entitled to the switching incentive as 1. you are a new customer and 2. you haven't received any previous incentive.
You can therefore switch in another account to co-op.
What is not clear is if you can switch in the account to your existing co-op account - the one you just opened.
You can, however, apply for a second co-op current account and switch the other account in. Of course, they can always refuse to give you a second account but you can always try. You may even have to close your co-op account and start again.0 -

Going by the following point...
'7.1 - Switch your main current account to your existing Co-operative Bank standard Current Account, Everyday Extra Account, Privilege Account, Privilege Premier Account or Current Account Plus. The switch must be completed using the full Current Account Switch Service, which will include the closure of your old account on the day that your switch completes'
...I would say I could? There is no mention of requiring a secondary account or anything along those lines.
Ideally, I would like to stop making applications now as this will be my last switch after numerous switches. The plan is then allow things to settle down in preparation for a potential mortgage sometime next year hopefully.#157 - Save £12k in 2016: £12000 / £12000

To update this..
In a bizarre twist, I logged into my online banking to be greeted with a £125 credit into my account.
I can only guess that as one of the three transferred DDs pays out twice in the same month, to the same account, this was considered acceptable? Not entirely sure but at the same time I'm not going to argue it!
Overall, I've got what I wanted so that's me happy.#157 - Save £12k in 2016: £12000 / £12000

Co-op terms doesn't say 4 different DDs, just 4 DDs.
Some here have reported having the 'same' DD paying 4 times in the month and getting the incentive.0 -

Surely not for the switch incentive?
http://www.co-operativebank.co.uk/assets/pdf/bank/currentaccounts/switching-offer-terms-and-conditions.pdf
"switch in a minimum of four active Direct Debits to your new current account, which must remain active until the incentive payment is made."
The everyday rewards of £4 per month require 4 direct debits to pay out (this can be the same direct debit paid 4 times) but the £125 switch incentive specifically says switch in 4 direct debits.0 -
I guess it depends on exactly what the OP meant by this phrase
To clarify, when I switched I only had 3 active DDs that were transferred. Each paying once a month.
I had a 4th DD setup but the first payment date was beyond the switch date.
The 4th DD appeared a few days after the switch was complete.
So I'm not entirely sure whats gone on, but as I said I'm not complaining.#157 - Save £12k in 2016: £12000 / £12000
