Zero hours and JSA

Do I need to tell my job center I've agreed to do zero hours work for someone, I'm not sure when I'm starting or whether I get any hours yet.

Tell them when you have a start date and know what hours you are doing.
If you do under 16 hrs then your JSA claim can remain open and they will require pay slips for each week to calculate your JSA.0
