Brittany Ferries - Spain

HI All,

we are looking at booking a Spain route next summer mid July ish and prices are £1400 for car and cabins for 4! anyone have any ideas as to how to shave this a little? we are planning on travelling though Spain for 4 weeks and hadn't banked on the ferry part being quite so expensive!
Thanks in advance

Cross the channel and drive through France? If you're away for 4 weeks, a bit more driving in France won't make a massive difference. Or you could cross the channel in one direction and use the northern Spain ferry in the other direction.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning

We've driven the outward route and then got the ferry back which is a great way to do it and reduces the cost. It is expensive but well worth it. I can't recommend the ferry highly enough.

I would look at their club voyage stuff - you can save upto 30% on crossings that way - for a long journey like that might be worth the cost - or ask on here for a discount code - I have one that will give you 5% off - other option is to book a Brittany holiday where you get the accommodation included - mights save you a bit.
