    You've signed a contract,
Why didn't you cancel within the cooling off period?

We didn’t know of all the additional costs until after the cooling off when the surveyor told us.

Can you explain exactly what you mean and costs?

Additional costs cannot arbitrarily be added to a contract once both parties have agreed.

If the two parties cannot agree on the cost of these 'extras', then both parties go their separate ways.

I would have thought the surveyor should have been within the 2 weeks cooling off period to give you the chance to cancel before the extra costs were added.

Although KeithP says that it shouldn't have been changed anyway so you should have the law on your side

Ops removed their post for legal reasons, as they've not identified themselves, unless they've threatened Everest they are going to post about them, I can't see any logical reason they've done this?
