Any advice re a cracked glass window please?

    You say it's a "fairly new" build. Unless it's under a year old the builder won't be interested.
    Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

    Its happened due to either an Inclusion (tiny foreign object formed within the glass when it was first made) or a Shell (an imperfection on the edge of the glass formed when the sheet was cut)neither are your fault.

    That's a Laminated unit so you could leave it like it is, unsightly but absolutely no danger.

    If it was a toughened DGU the window would of gone off like a bomb and you would have been left with a pile of tiny bits of glass. This happens most with shower screens as the glass quality is lower so there are more Inclusions and Seeds in the glass, you can be in bed or no where near the shower but the screen will just explode due to these imperfections.
