So npower are trying hard for the Worst Customer Service Award, hey?

Don't be silly - this is npower, they can get the Worst Customer Service award standing on their head, both hands behind their back and asleep.

Certainly don't talk to my parents about them - I'm of the understanding vampires love garlic pizza in comparison to what my parents think of npower...

It's just more that they ask for 10 days notice, then can't cope with 10 days notice. Which does then prompt the question: Why ask for 10 days notice?

But, any road up, I'm away from them now. :T

Just all of the financial institutions to visit to confirm I've changed address, where they've all closed their local (to me) office. A distinctly un-fun job for the new year...

    So then...
    • Snow? :D
    • Snow Tyres? :D
    • Joy? :(

I ended up with a puncture, so I'm running around on 3 snow tyres and a space saver...

I need a new tyre alas (which won't be cheap) and I think I'll also investigate a proper "snow" spare (which ironically I was thinking of a couple of weeks ago)

Fortunately, most people are being sensible in the snow. Some are a little too cautious, but I find that better than the alternative. Normally I end up with a whole bunch of people who think that if they can't read the part number on my back windscreen then they are waaay too far away from me. So far today, only one - a white van man.

Who also tried to overtake me because he obviously thought I was going too slow. On a narrow road. Up over a blind crest. With someone coming the other way. Only to find the reason I was going slow was because the person in front of me was going slow.

He dropped back at that point, with sudden braking and then uncontrolled weaving. :rotfl:

    :rotfl: I love it!

Sorry your mum's having to have a pacemaker fitted - I don't know anything about them as such, but my elderly auntie oop north has had one for about ten years now, and aside from regular checkups, it's been a real boon to her.

Here's to good tyres and no more punctures :)
