Hi
Just wanted to know that if i copy some MP3 tracks onto a normal CD (CD-R), will i be able to play them on my CD player in my car? (car manufacturers CD player). If not what format does the music need to be in?
Thanks in advance.

if you are using nero it asks you if the cd is for audio use ie car. but if you burn them on in mp3 format you need a special mp3 enabled stereo. You will need to goto Halfrauds for that or buy them off the net cheaper.
you can burn mp3's with windows media player if you have version 10 just select burn and away you go its quite easy.
hope this helpsWins so Far: 21" lcd monitor, 6 day all expenses paid holiday to China, 8800GTX gfx card, 2x Panasonic cameras, 12 cups and Loads of Twix's, Coffee Lovers Hamper - Wild bean cafe. TomTom (upto value of £200) Aviva Car Insurance0 -

Remember some car cd players are funny on types of discs used, especialy if its an old model 4 or so years old. Some if it doenst work with nero then use a different type of disc.

You can also buy an mp3 adaptor for playing mp3s in the car. One end plugs into your mp3 player <or CD player/mini disc/LCD TV/PC/laptop, etc - anything with a headphone socket> and the other end is a cassette tape which you stick in the cassette slot.baby_frogmella wrote:Hi

I've got a Rio mp3 car cassette adapter, and have found it good, although it doesn't seem to get very good reviews because of the build quality. Belkin do a similar one from £5.44 at Amazon - type 'Belkin Mobile Cassette Adapter' in to Amazon.

I used WMP any my mp3's play fine. Not as good as my mates MP£ CD player though as he can fit 8 cd's on one cd-r and you get the id tag info on screen, i want one !!0
