Tax credits paid early??

My tax credits have always been paid on a Monday but I had my payment early on Friday. Will I still get my payment on Monday or has my payment day changed? Rang HMRC but they didn't know themselves

Call back and speak to someone else. Or check online. Could be paid early because today is a local holiday but no one here can tell you for sure.0

I doubt you would get another payment today. Have you made any changes to your claim that could have generated an extra payment? If not it might just be one of those things and that is likely to be your payment for this week.
Do you have the app on your phone? I find it the best way to keep track of my payments.0
