swale heating wants to change 15 mm copper pipe to 24 mm copper wire,that is the new regulation apparently

But British gas guy said 15 mm is more than sufficient.but he wants a new socket box where as swale heating dont want a new
eletric socket

Both are giving different opinion.

My question is should i need 24 mm pipe
should i need a electric socket

Any comments pleae
