Mega garden slide

Hey MSE folks
Slightly odd request for a Sunday evening....
I have a rather steep garden, which is just crying out for a massive slide for the kids (and maybe the adults).
I have been googling like mad to try and find one but everything I can find is just not long enough.
Does anybody know where I could get a longer slide (think play centre type half tube) from? Must be a trade in second hand stuff, he says...
Any ideas appreciated

Hmm, an odd request - though I do see where you're coming from. Local council parks department, see if they've got any stuff they're binning due to refurbishments ? A long shot, but worth a try maybe ? I know our council sells off the bark chippings from the play areas, which are past their best - no good for playgrounds but gold dust for gardeners. Not quite the same thing, I know, but that's my train of thought.
If they've got nothing available, then they could at least put you in touch with their suppliers - and just maybe, if you've got a friend of a friend of a friend who works for the council, they could get you a new one at trade price ....... ?0 -
You're talking mega money from commercial suppliers. The kind of money councils pay for their parks.
The only other idea might be twin wall pipe https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/6m-Metre-Twin-Wall-Drain-Drainage-Pipe-APPROX-Internal-900mm-External-950mm-/222623912005?hash=item33d56b5045%3Ag%3AAXAAAOSw2GlXLFmz&_trkparms=pageci%253A4df3b822-a16b-11e7-ad90-74dbd1805d09%257Cparentrq%253Ab5b0651315e0ab1dc1775f3dffd3a024%257Ciid%253A90 -

Perhaps not quite what you are looking for but My sister-in-law lives on the side of a hill. In the summer they make a massive water slide using several lorry sides laid end to end.0
