Question for Moderator / Martin re B&C quote engine please

Options
Hi,

On a personal level I use the site on a daily basis (under different ID) but unfortunately don't get change to post much. Love the site to bits and it's certainly kept my Tesco online shopping bills down, amongst others...

I've been trying to digest the board rules as it's not in my intension breach any, however I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to our site in your main "Building & Contents" thread, with an offer which we believe to be market leading. The site & offer can be seen ***Link removed by Board Guide***.

We are the only company to currently offer online quotes for paymentshield's B&C and believe that with our "12 months for the cost of 8 months" we are cheaper, in many cases, than cover sourced through the usual channels.

Thanks
Simon McCabe

P.S the site is currently having a few server problems however I'm assured these will be resolved tomorrow.

I am only a board guide, so I may not get this totally correct but here we go.

You would NOT be able to post this offer on the main forums as it would be construed as direct selling, this is not permitted. The only exception to this rule is if you have the express consent of Martin or (possibly other members of the MSE team "MSE Webmaster, MSE Controllers or MSE Andrea")

The only forum you would be able to place a link to your business would be the referral board (your link could be removed at any time if deemed necessary)

    Hope this helps
    Regards
    Tony H

PS - You may be better off sending Martin a PM (Private Message) regarding this proprosal as he is extremely busy & may not necessarily read this post.
  • Thanks Tony. I didn't want to email Martin directly as I'm sure he must get thousands however will try to send him a PM as suggested.

    Thanks again
    Regards
    Simon

    Tony beat me to it.

I was looking for the post where the rule is listed but I can't find it.

I'll remove the link for now and if you PM to get permission you can post it - or I could send this thread over to the referrers board if you wish

There's already a post on the referral board, but this is just a little bit extra special. If authorised I would imagine the thread on the referral board will be closed off. icon7.gif
