1. Description: The “Win a Trip to the home of Icebreaker NZ” Icebreaker Sweepstake (the “Promotion”) begins at 12:01 a.m. Central European Time on 3rd September 2017 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Central European Time on 30th September 2017 (the “Entry Period”). Entries submitted outside the Entry Period are void. The promoters of this Promotion are Icebreaker Pure Merino Ltd (“Icebreaker”). Icebreaker’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Promotion.

2. Eligibility: The Promotion is open to residents of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark,Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, US, New Zealand and the United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland), who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority under applicable law) at the time of entry.

Prizes: There is one (1) prize to be won.
Prize includes: Return flights for 2 people and additional expenses, up to the value of $8,000NZD. Additionally, lodging for 2 nights for 2 people at an Icebreaker Station valued at $2,000NZD. (i) round-trip, coach-class airline tickets for the Selected Contestant and one (1) guest, aged 19 or over unless they are the Selected Contestant’s child, (“Guest”) on or about September 2017, from a major commercial airport in either Paris in France, Frankfurt in Germany, Prague in Czech Republic or from a major commercial airport nearest the Selected Contestant’s home in either the US or Canada for a resident of the US or Canada (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to a major commercial airport in Australia or New Zealand. Flights and additional expenses in total, will value up to $8,000NZD (ii) 2 nights lodging in a Icebreaker Station selected by Sponsor (double occupancy). A Station tour and full breakfast, lunch and dinner for 2 people for 2days is included.

Conditions of the Prize: The Selected Contestant and Guest must travel and redeem the Grand Prize during the date range determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (approximately October 2017 – October 2018) or the Grand Prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Dates are subject to change. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to select travel times acceptable to the Selected Contestant and Guest. Travel subject to availability and blackout dates. Travel must be round-trip. Sponsor will determine the airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion or (on pre-agreeance with the Contestant via email). The sponsor will arrange flights and the contestant may invoice the Sponsor for the balance of their expenses, where by flights and expenses total NZD $8000.


Package excludes: The Grand Prize does not include any expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the package description above, including but not limited to, travel to and from the departure airport the Northern Hemisphere Region, passport costs, visa fees, ground transportation, meals, incidentals, gratuities, passenger tariffs or duties, airline fees, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes or other expenses are the responsibility solely of the Selected Contestant and Guest. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, passes, travel vouchers or certificates. No insurance is provided as part of the Grand Prize, and obtaining any insurance (such as travel insurance, health, accident or medical insurance, or property loss or damage insurance) is the sole responsibility of the Selected Contestant and Guest. The Selected Contestant is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with Grand Prize receipt and/or use.

Travel is at own risk: Any and all activities related to the Grand Prize, including without limitation flying, are at the Selected Contestant’s and Guest’s own risk, including the risk of death, and subject to whatever restrictions are imposed by the entities that govern activities. The Selected Contestant is responsible for the conduct and behaviour of Guest.

Total approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): NZD$10,000. Actual value of each Grand Prize may vary from approximate retail value. The Selected Contestant will not receive difference between actual and approximate retail value.
Winner Selection and Notification: Potential prize winners will be selected and notified by 7th October 2017. Potential prize winners will receive an email notification from Icebreaker, as applicable, depending on the website of entry. To claim a prize, potential prize winners should follow the instructions contained in their notification and reply within five (5) days of attempted notification. As a condition of being awarded any prize, potential prize winners will be required, within five (5) days of receipt of documents from Icebreaker, to verify their correct address and execute and deliver to Icebreaker any legal, regulatory, or tax-related documents required by Icebreaker in its sole discretion. Failure of a prize winner to respond or execute and deliver such documents within the specified time may result in forfeiture of the prize and the selection of an alternate winner of that prize from the remaining eligible entries. Only up to three (3) alternate winners may be chosen otherwise the prize in question will remain un-awarded.
