Strange how internet searches turn up useful information on totally unrelated topics:rotfl:. I was reading about credit scores (for myself) and saw a link to a site on 'estranged students' which I thought might be interesting and useful to you and your son's 'homeless' student friend. Lots of relevant sections but I've just linked to a couple.

Hi Hairy,
Sorry to hear about the leak and glad that the insurance is going to sort it out.
Hope you're feeling better soon.

Thanks Wannabe. DS1's friend is at home at the moment but looking for summer jobs so he can move out.
Insurance is a good idea for just in case. You won't need an expensive policy depending upon how much stuff you have. As we have a house full of furniture, kitchen appliances, etc, it would cost thousands to replace if we had a fire, or a worse flood, or whatever. It just gives peace of mind. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Despite an early night and not getting up until 8am I feel worse today than yesterday
. I felt really tired at work and was glad to come home, which isn't like me. Hopefully another early night will help. So I'm going to be lazy this afternoon and do absolutely nothing.
We need to do a Mr T order today but I'm not sure what to order without a freezer. We'll have to eat out of packets and tins until we can get a new freezer sorted.
I've earnt 40p in surveys today and only spent £1.90 on sawdust for the furry moron.
Sorry for a whingy post.

Yay to a fellow Gilmore Girls fan:T:j. I came to it totally by accident on Freeview (that's the only way of watching TV that we have) and was totally hooked from episode 1. I like that each episode is short too. Looking forward to watching my charity-shop box set, all 7 series, must be hundreds of half hour episodes the vast majority of which I haven't seen yet:j. On Freeview they seemed to be shown randomly and not in sequence so I saw some of the early ones, then a few in the middle, and the final couple so I've years of Rory's growing up to see yet.
I don't watch much TV either and am embarrassed to say I've never heard of Heartland:o. I like to read in the evenings and first heard of Rory Gilmore through a reading challenge on Good Reads. It's strange how we discover new favourites isn't it?0
