Yes that's one thing DS's excel in, making a mess :rotfl:
The Mr T shop has been done. A little over budget at £83.50 :mad:, but we needed shampoo, mouthwash, etc, which are expensive. I experimented by buying Mr T fluoride toothpaste for 50p, how bad can it be?:eek:
Spent an additional £11.73 :eek: on 6 small water bottles, 8 cans of coke, 4 small bottles of Lucozade for DS1, plus a stack of cereal bars and chocolate for the journey there and back. Will make a ton of sandwiches too to take. More than I wanted to spend, but still a lot cheaper than having meals and drinks at service stations. Plus the Lucozade, cereals bars and chocolate were all half price :T.
Bought two boxes of chocolates, one for BIL and one for other brother, for £3 each reduced from £6 each :T.
DH has just renewed the car insurance. The renewal quote was £394.99, but we found a cheap price on the internet and got it price matched to £228.34 :T. which is £100 cheaper than last year :beer:. We paid it all up front to save expensive installments
I've also done two loads of laundry so we have clean clothes to pack, and changed the duvet on our bed for the winter one so we should sleep better tonight.
Even managed to some work done in between. All in all quite an efficient day. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

HOLIDAY MONEY = £0 TIME LEFT TO PAY OFF MORTGAGE = 5 YEARS 1 MONTHS0 -
We've also had some encouraging news about BIL. Doctors are very pleased with his post op progress and subject to physio today, he may be discharged from hospital tomorrow :T.

Good news about your BIL, fingers crossed he can go back home tomorrow. Its always so uncomfortable being anywhere but your own bed.

It was really cold this morning. I had to defrost the car this morning as well, which is probably the first for me this year.
