  • Thanks MTG she's still in a lot of pain but as nothing's broken she should feel better in a day or two.

  • I've volunteered for two mornings in a row these last two days. It's been great fun as they've been rehearsing for their leavers assembly :D.

I won't go back to the school until September now as I go to Scotland next week to visit my sister. That's come around quickly! My flight is booked but I need to book a coach to the airport. I'm looking forward to some quality sister time but wish DH was coming too.

Yesterday afternoon I popped in to see my friend for coffee and a catch up. I hadn't see her for two months so there was a lot of catching up to do.

It was quite hot again today (23 degrees) but with a slight breeze. I hope it's sunny when I'm away.

I earned just over £6 this afternoon on YG surveys so chuffed with that :T.

Hope everyone is having a good Friday :).

Your volunteering with the children is lovely. Your trip has come round fast , do you fly from Exeter ? Your sister is in Scotland isn't she ? It will be a great trip, DH will be ok , he was last time , but I guess you will miss him.

Enjoy your Saturday jaunt if you are going tomorrow.

  • I fly from Bristol Cumbria. The nearest airport to my sister is Inverness, so she'll meet me there. I hope she's got the Prosecco in :D.

Bristol was my next guess. Not as far on a coach this time. Yay to the Prosecco.

A lot quicker journey on the coach this time. A bit of hanging about at airports but I don't mind that so much as there's more to see.

I'm feeliing tired already but then I've done 11,117 steps already :j.

I did my saturday saunter this morning. I got a book for £2 by JK Rowling called 'Very Good Lives' based on her speech to Harvard graduates, which I thought would be interesting. It's about learning from failure etc.

It was a bit of a spendy day after that as I needed nail varnish for my toes (my current one had gone all weird and lumpy and I realised I'd had it for about ten years ), new sun block, hand cream and two more 100ml bottles for my toiletries to be decanted into. Plus I got a colourful strap for my suitcase as I nearly picked up the wrong one by mistake on my last trip :o .

Apart from that it was bananas, satsumas, cheese and bread from Mr T and berries from the fruit stall. Not forgetting my real treat, my Costalot latte :D.

When I got home I cleaned out the furry moron, emptied all the bins and separated the recycling and ironed three tops :A.

The schedule now is shower, relax, dinner, cider and more relaxing in that order :D.

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday :).

Sorry to hear your mum had a fall, hope she's feeling better soon.

Glad you got your saunter and latte. Enjoy your cider and relaxation tonight xx
