  • I’m glad you’ve had a productive day. We don’t have a Mr T that sells home wares near us sadly. Our local big Mr T is not really that big but I do get quite excited about going there once a week for a change of scenery 😆
    Aren't we sad?  😭🤣

  • I enjoyed going somewhere different to shop and it felt like a nice outing, which is very sad really 🤣. How low my expectations are during this lockdown if I can get excited about going to a different supermarket 😒.
A friend I was talking to on the phone this afternoon has got her first vaccine tomorrow and, after months at home, was very excited about the 'outing', and realised she'd have to remember such things as outdoor shoes and a coat !! Us hermits have got out of the habit of thinking what one previously picked up automatically to go 'out'. She's in the next younger group than me, so it's great to see progress.

Fancy being at home so long you forget about needing shoes and a coat! I hope she enjoyed going to get her vaccine and having someone to chat to for a short time :).

Your trip to the big Tesco sounds exciting. I’ve been trying to do a different supermarket every now and then. I want to go to Sainsbobs next week - mainly to see if they have any summery smock style tops coming in. I’ve bought a few tops in Morrison’s over the last month so my wardrobe is looking  a little more healthy and I can wear clothes that look respectable again 😂😂
Haha it was quite exciting :). I hope you find what you want at Mr S.

If you will be going back to Tesco you can take your receipt to customer services and they will put you points you earned into to you card.
Yes that's a good idea Parky :), I must try and do that when my clubcard arrives.
