My healthy eating was going really well until I remembered we had some icecream left in the freezer from new year's eve . But that really is the last of the unhealthy food, so no more temptation. I didn't buy any chocolate, cake, biscuits, crisps or desserts at Mr T today :T. I used to spend a fortune on stuff like that.
So today I had porridge for breakfast, a cheese sandwich and a satsuma for lunch, a banana as a snack, and sausage rolls wiith baked potato and grapes and strawberries for dinner :A. Oh and icecream .
It's going to be another AFD though :T.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

My Mr T shop was over budget today, but the freezer was completely empty apart from vegetables and mince, and we needed laundry powder, bin liners, cleaning wipes and mouth wash etc. So the total came to £87.79 which is not great. I need to do better next week .
DH has gone mad but it's a good sort of madness. He's put the arm back on my swivel chair, mended DS1's shelf and put the handle back on my wardrobe :T.
We also dropped off the air conditioner, floor fan and four rubbish bags at the tip. Then we did some shredding. We have two bags full of shredding, but decided if we do ten minutes of shredding a day we will eat the elephant :T.
I also got a PA survey and am up to £8 and £2.50 pending :j.
So quite a successful day àpart from the overspend

Happy Thursday everyone
.
Today's plan is more de-cluttering in the office, check for surveys, get work done, and do some laundry. Nothing exciting but all needs doing.
DS3 is back at college today, but looked surprisingly alert this morning

We managed some work and some de-cluttering of papers today.
In addition we popped out and bought a new lamp shade to replace the one in the kitchen that was tattered and faded. Whilst we were there DH decided that he needed a new paint roller and a brush, so about £7 spent. I popped into Mr M then for DS3's chicken breast and DH requested coleslaw, so another £5 gone
After work DH put some hooks up in DS3's room and DS3 did some cooking with the chicken breasts when he got home from college. All very industrious
.
No surveys today and definitely not a NSD, but it will be an AFD.
I feel tired after getting up at 7.00am (it's been 8.00am during the holidays) but I'll get used to it. I also feel a bit flat today, but I think it's anticlimax after the Christmas activities

It's the January lull. There's nothing much to look forward to.
One of my ways of saving for Christmas is to actually buy store cupboard staples in the run up to the holidays. I am hopeless at avoiding temptation for scrumptious treats but funnily enough, toilet rolls and tea bags aren't so attractive. So I buy stuff needed for January.
Keep shredding, take care
