    Whether they will or not is not down to the OP to find out, its up to the cats owner.

    I really think the OP should stop trying to help, no other business would if there is no claim (like in this case)

    But it's not the cats owner who is posting

    I usually find if someone is threatening litigation, saying " tell your solicitor to contact my solicitor usually shuts them up . "

  • Thank you all for your comments, they have helped to set my mind at rest.

    i have kept my contact brief with this owner as didn't want to get into any war of words. she states that I have blocked her from public forums facebook/whatsapp, which are closed completely as not used, but as stated she has always had my email address and home address and has never told me of any problem until 2 years later. Ive explained that the kitten had no signs/symptoms when with me and also saw a vet twice.
    I think she is venting and trying to find someone to blame so hopefully her vent will be the last it it.
    Your comments have put my mind at rest :-)
