"Good til cancelled" and "sell for £1"

I understand GTC is for 30 days, then renewed but I see that selling fees of £1 t&cs state item must sell within 30 days, so you might need to keep an eye that someone doesn't buy your product on the 32nd day and you get hit for normal fees, which could be substantial.

Is this correct and is there a way to change from GTC, I'm using my iPad and I can't see the option to change duration anywhere.
No two ways about this one: Anything Free is not a Basic Right..it had to be earned...by someone, somewhere

The £1 offer is for private sellers only - and private sellers don't have the option of choosing GTC.

To get the offer you need your listing to start during the offer period, so cancelling and resisting is the simplest way to handle an existing listing.

Edit: thanks to those who corrected my out of date grasp - I hadn't spotted GTC was now an option for private sellers!

Not so, I'm a private seller and just recently have seen this pop up as an offer, but now the GTC has appeared on my drop down list when listing an item and choosing the amount of days listed.

So I have both of the above - the £1 offer and GTC.

Its only recently that GTC has become an option for private sellers.

I would suggest reading the offer very carefully as it is usually limited to BIN or auction only, and would appear to exclude GTC.

Also be careful when using GTC as a private seller as it is often not covered in the free listing offers.

As you say - read the T&C carefully, but you can still list BIN and GTC, just maybe not in the offer.
I didn't read all, as I list BIN with 30 days usually, or auction 7 days.
