New activity, further ash emission expected. Bali airport (DPS) is for now operating normally, but some airlines have cancelled flights. Lombok airport (LOP) is completely closed.

My sister and her family is planning to have vacation on 18th to 23rd December 2017 to Bali. Hotel rate is much cheaper due to the Mount Aging eruption.0

Bali airport is now open, but may have to close again if the wind changes. A huge backlog of flights means that delays for passengers continue.

11:00GMT: I've just heard that Lombok airport is closed again today. Ash clouds are moving with the shifting winds, and some airlines decide not to operate even when airports are open, so no bookings to DPS or LOP should be considered reliable.Evolution, not revolution0 -
