The NOC means that when he applies they read it rather than do an automatic application. It's not a T&C that they have to comply to. They may have read it and seen it's irrelevant to their application procedures. I suppose he could complain and they could close his accounts should he wish.I think Mr S is barking up the wrong tree.
He should have complained to (and about) the companies that appear to have disregarded his NOC.
Experian recorded it on his credit file and there's nothing to indicate they haven't made it available to companies who should be given it.0
