January 2017 my then 18 yr old went on a caribbean cruise for 2 weeks with a supported holiday company , her insurance cost for the trip was just under £180.
I have just started looking at cover for her next trip to Kenya next January and the prices are starting at under £30 .
Would an issue on a cruise with a full medical team on board be that much costlier than her african safari/beach holiday ? I was expecting a similar cost to the previous trip this low price has thrown me a bit .

Yes, insurance for cruise is expensive. Even though some medical help on board a helecopter may be needed in an emergency.0
