Trying to claim more from paid ccj

Hi I was hoping for a bit if advice. I have had a ccj which had an attachment of earnings and was paid off in full a few months ago. No more money has been taken out of my wages since the date is was paid. I have now had a letter and emails from tm legal services saying they are perusing a claim for this outstanding ccj of around £600. The original debt was £3000.
They are stating this is an active ccj and will be applying to the courts for another attachment of earnings for this amount and will add on costs of around £120 For having to go to the courts if I don't contact them and make an offer of payment. Has anyone ever been in a situation like this ?

Contact them and say this has already been settled.
Who was the CCJ obtained by and who did you pay? Contact them for evidence that the debt is fully paid.

Is this a different legal firm to the original creditor ?
Its not unheard of for rights to these things to be sold on.
As above really, write an tell them its paid off, enclose evidence of settlement, without that they will still actively pursue you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
