Buying New House Before Selling Ours

Hi all I can say it that do not sell your home before you have got an exact completion date.
Usually with new builds do not give an completion date and that it is on notice. Especially when your house I being built. If there were delays in the house build it would mean that the completion is delayed and if you are mortgage free at the moment you have no worries about the exact completion date whereas if u rent and put ur stuff in storage you would be paying and paying.
Currently I am in a chain where the person im buying from is buying a new build and first was told completion is august approx., we are approaching October and I drove past to see if their new house has been built and the area looks very incomplete. Might stretch out to nov
