Travel Lodge Offer Not Getting Anywhere.

Travel lodge send me email saying that they have bargain rooms from £29 but I can never find them. I did used to be able to when you could scroll through a calendar on their website for a specific location.
Just got in one of their promotional emails and spent ages looking but you now have a right faff of searching individual dates which takes forever. So I phoned up their customer services and they couldn't find any either apart from next August which isn't an Autumn saver as advertised. Charged 13p a minute and on the phone ages and ages.
What a con trick - won't be using Travel Lodge again in the near future. The Customer Service folk were not very helpful and just repeat same mantra as if they are robots.
I think these people should be done as it's just to get you onto their website and you'll book something in desperation - which I didn't do as it's over priced without the saver rates.

I agree that it was a lot easier to search when you could scroll through a calendar of hotels in an area.
But I don't agree that they are lying about the £29 rooms - I've had them in the past.
For example, I've just clicked on the link showing 'rooms in Manchester from £29' here
https://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotel-deals
and ten of the hotels listed are quoting rooms for £29 or under.
The strange thing is that some of them are offering rooms even cheaper - at £28, £27 and even £25 !
I miss the old days of getting up at 5am to book £9 rooms in Central London in their sales though....0 -
I have had the cheap rooms from travel lodge, its not a con.0

Although the prices are not always quite 100%0 -
Just put in a random date of 17 Dec 2017 and London rooms for £26 at Cricklewood, Park Royal £23, Kew £27 for example.
Liverpool also have a number of saver rooms around the same date.
