I could be completely wrong but I've not found a case yet so I'd be interested if anyone knows of one. (Purely hypothetically of course as it makes no difference to me personally either way).

Have you logged on to The Cloud? Go to Safari and enter a page such as Google and it should automatically take you to the login scren where you need to register, and then you should be able to get online.
