Can any clever one help me pleaseeeee?
I accidentally deleted an Outlook folder instead of the message I had intended to delete which I had highlighted:eek:I have looked in deleted items, recycle bin etc, but cannot find the folder so I can re-instate it.
Does anyone know where Outlook will have put it? Really need some of the messages!!

It is probably still in your Store Folder which is located in the directory shown in Tools, Options, Maintenance, Store Folder. If you can find the foldername.dbx copy it to some where safe. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Thanks very much for helping.
I looked under tools / options but there is no "maintenance" option there, the only headings I have are Preferences / Mail Setup / Mail Format / Spelling / Security / Other. I can't find any reference to maintenance on any of those tabs.0 -
Sorry I was talking Outlook Express. For Outlook search for *.pst to find your Store Folder. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Thanks
I searched C drive and it has come up with two files not folders, which it says I shouldn't open, and are a type I can't open as you have to select which program to use! I think I am stuffed!:mad:0
