Thank you all for your help

I have gone onto my BT account, with the intention of checking if the charge is correct or not etc. and now it's saying my full initial bill was paid yesterday ???
I don't remember paying it, nor do I have the money to pay it until tomorrow, so I'm not entirely sure what's going on there :rotfl:0 -

Did you set a Direct Debit up? It might show paid as soon as they try to claim the money.
A £50 line activation charge does sound high, but I'm sure it costs them more to activate some lines than others. Paying a flat fee is pretty common, we do it for prescriptions and postage stamps.0 -
Yes I do have a direct debit set up phillw, but it's not due to go out until the beginning of the month.0
