Surely the more germs we get exposed to, the more we build up our immunities?

When I had to use public transport, I always wore gloves so that my hands didn't touch anything infected, and I always used a nasal spray by Vicks in the winter months. It's fantastic - a gluey sort of substance that catches all bacteria and viruses and stops them developing into colds or flu.

Video ok until the end and you find it's sponsored by a germ killing drug company.

My desire to work from home is nothing to do with germs, and everything to do with an extra hour in bed/slobbing around in comfortable clothes.
To be honest, if he did his germ test in my house the results probably wouldn't be pleasant either, housework generally not being at the top of my to do list.
It's a bit like all the unnecessary focus on antibacterial everything. Marketing hype.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

The 1918 flu pandemic killed more younger people than old - presumably because the oldies had built up some form of natural immunity.
