Error message -rpsystray has stopped working

I keep getting an error message on my PC saying "rpstray has stopped working". What does this mean and how do I correct it to rectify or stop it appearing. Thank you

It means that the real player system tray widget has crashed.
W10 creators edition caused incompatibilities with the older version.
You can fix it by uninstalling real player, and installing the latest version.0 -

RealPlayer?! Whoa -- I thought that died off in the 1990s!
Are you sure you need it, OP? VLC Media Player plays most content without needing separate codecs.0
