Trouble with Vodafone

Options
I moved from Talkmobile to Vodafone last month. I was mis sold a contract by Talkmobile but thought I had rectified the matter with both compaies. Since then I have had nothing but trouble, being on the wrong contract, being told numerous times verbally and in writing that I'm on the contract I wanted only to be told that doesn't exist!! I have been given some credit by Vodafone but it has taken over 4 hours in phone calls and numerous emails.

I even emailed the CEO Nick Jeffery who didn't apologise for the lies and misinformation that I'd been told, just sent an email telling me what contract I was on (not the one I originally agreed to!).

I've also benn charged for calls I had to make to Talkmobile once I had transferred to Vodafone to rectify the original mis selling!!

I have contacted Ofcom and Resolver but don't understand how a large company like Vodafone cannot get it right!!

  • Hello,

I am using this system as I've read it in another thread in the MSE Forum.

I was a Vodafone user until 2015, November I think. My husband and I had two Vodafone mobile contracts, and we decided to swap to a different company. In February 2016 I checked on our credit reports, and the accounts weren't closed. I contacted Vodafone and apparently, that was because I paid in excess for my last bill, so they proceed for a reimburse and assured me the accounts would be closed shortly after. I never checked again, until now. I've found (these days, in October 2017!!) that both accounts are still opened. I really want these accounts to be closed NOW, because I'm suspecting that the fact that they are opened may be affecting our credit scores. I really want both accounts to be closed, I cannot understand why they haven't been closed before.

I've followed the procedure and contacted the company through the form, using the code WRT135. I've received an email stating my "ticket number" is #17241613, and I'd like to know whether it has been received and someone is actually dealing with my issue. Please, I'd like to have this solved asap.

    Thank you very much.

You're best posting this in the main Vodafone complaints thread, rather than hoping it wil be noticed here
