External wall insulation?

Hi,
Got a cold outside wall which is a little alleyway between mine and next doors house which leads to the gardens.
In the winter the walls especially by the front door and going through to the kitchen gets cold, which leads to condensation, mould and cold room.
Is there a cheaper way than getting someone out to do external wall insulation and do it myself?(single skin wall)
Thanks

we have a fitted kitchen and the units plus cooker is on that wall. i now have a mini de humidifier in the cupboard at present to try and eliminate condensation and mould building up like last year in the kitchen.0

My guess is that cold wind gets funneled down the tunnel and cools the walls.
If you can stop the wind from passing through the tunnel, you might find the wall doesn't get as cold. This is probably your cheapest option.0 -

It's certainly worth a try. Don't expect everybody to close it though.valleyboy22 wrote: »I was thinking this. need to pit maybe a 6ft gate in it?
