Night Vision Equipment

We have a lot of wildlife visitors to our garden at night. I would like to get some night vision equipment to record what is happening out there. No idea where as to what is required or where to get it. Any advice please?

You'll need an infra-red camera- you could try an internet search and see what it comes up with.

I'm not sure if this is the sort of thing you mean as these are security cameras but Maplin.co.uk have a range of them

We bought a day/night vision CCTV camera from Maplins about six months ago for about £80. We have it set up so it records straight to a spare video recorder. The camera just plugs into the back of the video. On long play we normally get 8 hours on one tape. The pictures at night are as clear as if it was daytime.

We got ours to cover the our entrance and car but I'm sure it would do a perfect job for you in your situation.
