Cigarette smoke and musty smell in new rented house

Evening all
I have just moved into a new rented house that had a smoker there previously.
Also the cupboards smell very musty. So far in the last 24 hours I have:
1) burnt candles
2) hung dehumidifier in cupboards and placed in corner of all rooms
3) put bowls of vinegar in worst offending cupboards
I am wondering whether it's also worth having another good scrub of all walls and skirting boards, smoke alarm, surfaces etc, any recommendations on products?
Any advice appreciated
