I don't think it being repossessed at such a young age would indicate a problem. At a few years old it might be more of a problem as the previous owner might not have looked after it through lack of funds. If it had been 5/6 years old then being repossessed might sound more alarm bells.

I just posted because that might be one of the reasons for it being cheaper in addition to being non franchise dealer.

I'd still be interested in it, hearing all this. It's a fine car, not a petrolhead's choice but a sturdy workhorse, a decent utilitarian box on wheels that gets from A to B at little cost and can carry a lot more luggage/passengers than it looks.

And I'm enjoying driving it, much, much more than the automatic I used to drive.
