How do you suggest I check this then? If you're right this is surely a trap that could apply for any used car, franchise dealer or not.
I don't think it being repossessed at such a young age would indicate a problem. At a few years old it might be more of a problem as the previous owner might not have looked after it through lack of funds. If it had been 5/6 years old then being repossessed might sound more alarm bells.
I just posted because that might be one of the reasons for it being cheaper in addition to being non franchise dealer.0 -
I'd still be interested in it, hearing all this. It's a fine car, not a petrolhead's choice but a sturdy workhorse, a decent utilitarian box on wheels that gets from A to B at little cost and can carry a lot more luggage/passengers than it looks.
