Norwich to Inverness

Hi
Has anyone any bright ideas for the cheapest way for two adults to get from Norwich to Inverness without driving, christmas week.
Managed to get from Peterborough to Inverness on train for £14 each way in 2006, now can't seem to get same deal for under £110 return.
To fly from Luton would be £110 going and £50 to return..... + car parking fees....
Anyone else got any bright ideas? Any offers for cheap travel at the moment that I have missed?
Thanks in advance
Carol

Try https://www.onerailway.com and price up single tickets. They say from £19, but you might not get this around Christmas. If they haven`t fixed the bridge between Bury St Edmunds and Peterborough by Christmas it will not be a pleasant journey as you have to get the bus as well.0

OK, a bit Leftfield, but...
Hourly trains Norwich - Nottingham £13 o/w
Ryanair flights (well timed) East Midlands - Inverness £30 o/w
Available over Xmas...0
