Small savings which is best?

A&L Online Saver 5.35 Interest earned daily and paid annually in September
or
ING 5.00 Interest is calculated daily and credited to your account on the last day of each month.
I know that may sound like a stupid question but interest will be accrued on interest in the ING account wont it? but will that compete with the higher rate of the A&L?
