How much compost to fill a pot

A daft question I know but I have a container 15" x 15" x 7" (or 38cms x38 cms x 18 cms) and I am trying to find out how much compost do I need to buy to fill the pot please but I don't know how to calculate this. Can anyone help please?

My maths makes it 26 litres, but I stand to be corrected. That's filling it completely, which you won't be doing.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Volume = 38×38×18 = 25992 centimeters3 so 26 litres
