Well if RyanAir have a bad inhouse company holiday booking system I could tell them about a company who advertise continuously on LBC called Who's Off.
Could be the help they need.
Worst case of bad publicity for the company I have ever seen.
Plus I think there is more to the story than they are saying. The more I live, the more I learn.
The more I learn, the more I grow.
The more I grow, the more I see.
The more I see, the more I know.
The more I know, the more I see,
How little I know.!!0 -
The newspapers have quoted that 140 pilots left Ryanair this year alone to join Norwegian Air who have a new base in Ireland.
So it is more than a new company holiday scheme gone awry.0 -
Ryanair cancelled my afternoon flight. I have managed to re-book on the later flight (returning home at 11.35pm) but this would have been a cheaper flight had I originally booked it. Can I apply for a refund for the difference?? It means I get home at silly o'clock at night and have work the next day - A flight time I NEVER would have chosen!Live as if your were to die tomorrow. easyJet cancelled a massive load of planes back in August and hardly any coverage about it in the news.
I was offered a refund or another flight with EU. I was given a leaflet which stated I could find my own way home by other means but could not spend anymore than the price of my cancelled flight.
Not sure if that is right, but it seems Ryanair are saying the same, use our planes only or no chance of reimbursement.
I'm sure Ryanair will ride this out and people will continue to use them, they are a bus service that loads of people use, so confidence will be knocked but passenger still need to fly and BA can't match Ryanair for price or sheer number of destinations.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -
Can't help thinking there is a lot of disinformation floating around here. If I was out of pocket due to having to buy a more expensive flight because I absolutely had to get back for work I would give Ryanair one chance to pay up and then issue a claim through the small claims court.
Same goes for money lost on hotels car hire etc. If every one issues a claim what are Ryanair going to do?
Ryanair has a policy of being mean to its staff and I can't help thinking the holidays story is a smokescreen. You can't tell me that the 140 pilots going to work for Norwegian air didn't have a massive impact. Sorry Ryanair I don't believe you.0 -
last night we found out our flight Edinburgh to Stansted end of October was cancelled. No alternatives with Ryanair so we took the refund. The other airlines were much more expensive than we had paid so we've booked the train, still an extra £30 per person though. Does anyone know if we can claim this back?0

Ryanair should've offered you easyJet, if they didn't they are in breach of Eu regulations, the CAA is furious about this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-41422571Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
It looks like because they cancelled more than 2 weeks before your flight you won't be able to claim. If the situation changes I'm sure MSE will be on to it.0
